Notes
Please don't forget that starting with this round, using anticheat client is required. Demos recorded on other game clients will not be accepted.
You can download anticheat client from the FAQ page.
This time the DFWC anticheat client comes with extra features protecting bsp files decompilation, and it provides other functionality instead.
If you need to see triggers and player clips, you don't have to decompile a map.
You can download additional file tcRender.pk3 (place it in your baseq3 folder),
and turn visualization of triggers and player clips on and off using the following binding:
\bind <key> "toggle scr_clips_draw; toggle scr_triggers_draw;"
Note (1): the usage of this pk3 and these commands is not necessary. You may use them, if you like, or you may ignore them.
Note (2): this time, both settings g_synchronousClients 0 and 1 are allowed. More details in the Rules page.
Hi everyone, 1 piece of news and 2 reminders:
- The 64-bit anticheat client got an update - it doesn't crash anymore. You can download it on dfwc website from the FAQ section. Downloading it isn't necessary - you can keep playing with the 32-bit client, or the previous 64-bit client, if it works for you. Demos recorded on any of the 2019 anticheat clients will be accepted.
- Remember, it is not allowed to stream gameplay of an ongoing round. Players doing so may be disqualified. The only exception is 1 hour before round end, and half an hour after new round start. Streaming gameplay in the last hour of a round is intended to let streamers show some of the available routes. Streaming in the first half an hour of a round is learning the map while seeing it for the first time anyway, so it can be useful for newcomers who would struggle to finish the map otherwise. It is allowed to stream demos of the past (completed) rounds.
- Remember, donations for the prize fund are open (https://dfwc.q3df.org/comp/dfwc2019/donate.html).
Good luck!

Notes
Make sure to load dfwc-rules.cfg, and don't forget to read the rules!
This is a warmup round. It doesn't count towards competition and doesn't give players any points. Participation in this round is not mandatory, meaning that you can totally skip it. Demos from this round will not be validated, so it is just for fun. Any game client is allowed for this round only, but iDFe is recommended. However this will not apply to any rounds afterwards, as the actual competition will be player on a separate anti-cheat engine based on iDFe.
Good luck!
